Februrary 2002 Newsletter
As I look outside right now, it's snowing. I guess we're getting some real
winter this year, even down here in the valley. Hopefully that doesn't
translate to terribly tough conditions for the region's wildlife.
The club is continuing efforts to become active in the Civilian Marksmanship
Program (CMP; formerly the DCM). The Board is working toward holding a CMP
shoot around late March or early April. We'll keep you informed as progress
evolves.
The annual Friends of NRA dinner will be at the Red Lion on April 13. As usual,
there will be a live auction, silent auction, raffles, etc. Come out and
support the organization that has done so much to support your range.
Please remember that membership renewals are due by February 15. If you haven't
already renewed your membership, please do so as soon as possible.
The February membership meeting will be held Wednesday, February 6, beginning at
7:30 p.m. in the basement of Meriwether Lewis Hall, LCSC campus.
If you are still receiving this letter via US mail, but would like to receive it
via e-mail, please send your name and e-mail address to dts@clarkston.com; this
could save the club considerable costs in copying and postage.
