June 2004 Newsletter

Hopefully the rain will slow down enough for things to finally dry out a little. Now’s the time to get out to check out your rifles and pistols before the range gets really busy prior to hunting season.

The Club is looking for a volunteer with a video camera to make a VHS tape of a shoot being held at the range so the tape can be used for showing at gun shows to promote the Club. If you can help out with a camera and the time/expertise to make a tape, please contact Marc Gomez (746-0209).

There will be a youth shoot held at the range on Saturday, June 12. Contact Marc Gomez (746-0209) for further details.

There will be a pistol silhouette shoot held at the range on Sunday, June 20.

There will be a women’s outdoor clinic held at Hells Gate State Park June 25-27. For more information or to sign up, contact Idaho Fish and Game (799-5010).

There will be a CMP shoot held at the range on Sunday, June 27. For more information and/or registration, contact Ken Jacks (kjacks@clarkston.com, 798-3159).

Bench rest shooters will be present at the June membership meeting to discuss putting on a bench rest competition at the range.

The June membership meeting will be held Wednesday, June 2, beginning at 7:30 p.m., in the basement of Lewis Hall, LCSC campus.

If you are still receiving this letter via US mail, but would like to receive it via e-mail, please send your name and e-mail address to dts@clarkston.com; this could save the club considerable costs in copying and postage.
