At the February membership meeting, the membership initiation fee was discontinued effective immediately. Therefore, memberships are now just $30 per (calendar) year, with no additional fees.

Also discussed at the February membership meeting was the possibility of raising non-member shooting fees at the range. This proposal will be further discussed and decided upon at the March membership meeting.

The Club would like to acknowledge the passing of two of our members recently - Charles Rodgers and Gordon Bundy. Please send your thoughts and wishes to their families.

There will be a youth shoot held at the range on Saturday, February 26. Contact Marc Gomez for more information (746-0209).

CMP shoots are scheduled for the year, all taking place on Saturdays - March 12, April 16, and June 25. For sign-up or further information, contact Ken Jacks (kjacks@lewiston.com, 798-3159).

Several defense training courses are scheduled at the range this summer. July 9-10 is a basic handgun course. July 11-13 is an advanced defensive handgun course. August 5-7 is a tactical carbine course. For more information on these classes, contact Bill England (743-4549, england@lewiston.com).

The March membership meeting will be held Wednesday, March 2, beginning at 7:30 p.m., in Room B30 in the basement of Lewis Hall, LCSC campus.
