Scheduling for range officers is now being handled by Dean Narramore. Benefits of serving as range officer include shooting for free, waiving of member dues, and being able to shoot during the week when the range is not normally open. If you have any interest in serving as range officer, please contact Dean at 758-3279 to schedule a day for range training. Thank you Dean!

The club is selling raffle tickets to win a 4-wheeler. 1,500 tickets are being sold at $10 each to raise funds for range expansion/improvement. For tickets, contact Frank Perkins (743-2452), or any Board member.

In preparation for range improvement/expansion work, the Lewis-Clark State College Engineering class is scheduled to survey the 200-300-400-500 yard distances the week of April 25. Thanks to Stan Wilson for coordinating this work with LCSC.

It has come to my attention that Jim Hoffman, the gunsmith who was at Lolo Sporting Goods, is doing work out of his house, so anyone in need of repair services can contact him at 746-1469.

The May membership meeting will be held Wednesday, May 4, beginning at 6:00 p.m., at the Helm restaurant. The speaker will be Jeff Holmes, representative for the Sierra Club.

If you are still receiving this letter via US mail, but would like to receive it via e-mail, please send your name and e-mail address to dts@clarkston.com; this could save the club considerable costs in copying and postage.
