At the July membership meeting, a motion was passed to reimburse range
officers $10 per day served if they drive less than 25 miles one way to work
at the range, $20 per day served if they drive more than 25 miles one way,
effective 7/1/05.
Also at the July membership meeting, a motion was passed to charge $10 per
person per day for special instructional courses at the range, effective
1/1/06.
Just a reminder that there is a reciprocal agreement between the
Lewis-Clark Wildlife Club (LCWC) and the Lewiston Pistol Club (LPC) that allows
LPC members to shoot at the LCWC Lapwai range for member fees, and also allows
LCWC members use of the indoor pistol range on16th Avenue in Lewiston.
Ernie Hall volunteered to provide maintenance and repair of the guns
owned by the club - Thanks Ernie!
Be sure to attend the August membership meeting at the Helm restaurant - Bert
Bowler will speak to the group about issues related to salmon recovery, dam
removal, etc.
The club is selling raffle tickets to win a 4-wheeler. 1,500 tickets are
being sold at $10 each to raise funds for range expansion/improvement. For
tickets, contact Frank Perkins (743-2452), or any Board member.
The August membership meeting will be held Wednesday, August 3, beginning
at 6:00 p.m., at the Helm restaurant; Bert Bowler will speak regarding issues
related to salmon recovery and removal of Snake River dams.
