There will be a CMP clinic held at the range Saturday, April 8, led by Allan Ewing. A CMP match will follow on Sunday, April 9. To sign up, or for questions, contact Ken Jacks at 798-3159 or kjacks@lewiston.com.

Defensive classes to be held at the range this coming summer include Bill Jeans running a basic pistol class 6/24-25 and an advanced pistol class 6/26-28. Louis Awerbuck will be teaching a carbine class 7/21-23. For more information, contact Bill England at 743-4549 or england@lewiston.com.

From President Rick Brigham: The Club needs your help, please. For nearly a year, we have been trying to sell raffle tickets to raise money to buy a 2-seater ATV with bed, to haul disabled shooters and targets, and for maintenance at the range. Raffle tickets are $10 each, and the prizes include $5,000 toward anything at Mac’s Cycle, a Savage .243 rifle, a Ruger 10/22, and $100 cash.
We have tried selling tickets at the following: Nez Perce County Fair, gun shows, a table at Black Sheep, Lewiston Tribune spring coupon book, verbiage on shooting match fliers (placed at local businesses), the Club's web site, Channel 13, the LCToday web page, raffle fliers, and a local radio station interview on March 1. To date we have sold only about 325 of the 1,500 tickets we need to cover the prizes and the ATV for the Club.
We are asking you to help in this effort by selling the two tickets enclosed with this month's newsletter in order to help the Club meet its goal - "rolling stock" at the range. We know this letter looks like something the NRA sends out every month, asking for money. Unlike the NRA, we won't be asking you again. If you don't like the idea of selling them (and most of us don't), please consider buying them yourself, even if you have already bought one or more. It sure would help out the Club! Please fill out the purchaser’s information on the ticket stub and return stub(s) and payment to any Board member or mail to the Club address above. The Board of Directors sincerely appreciates your help.

The April membership meeting will be held Wednesday, April 5, beginning at 7:30 p.m., in Room B30 in the basement of Lewis Hall, LCSC campus.
