Hello, All: Rick Brigham-past club president/publicity chair/Board member here. I have assumed the Secretary/Newsletter editor position for the immediate future, to improve communication within the L-C Wildlife Club and to give Mike Washburn a rest. Only paid up members are getting this via email/snail mail. There are currently 297 total members; of which 169 of you are getting this by email. Thanks to Stan and Jean Wilson for getting out the snail mail!

Tickets are available from GARY BLACKWELL, (208) 790-3793, or at the range, or at the Lewiston Gun Show, which is this weekend–November 21 and 22. And call Gary if you want to help the effort and sell tickets. TIME IS SHORT–PLEASE SUPPORT THIS. THE CLUB WILL BENEFIT BY $1K IF ALL TICKETS ARE SOLD.

BUSY WEEKEND. In addition to the Gun Show, at which the club will have a booth, Ken Jacks is ramrodding the last M1-Garand Match of 2009 on Saturday, November 21. It is an A-type match (slow-fire prone/rapid-fire prone/slow-fire standing). Total 45 rounds. $35. Hotdogs will be served at lunch time, followed by a full-sized wolf-silhouette shoot at 100 yards. Cost is $10 and winner gets half the entry fees. Ken’s phone is 208-798-3159 if you have questions.

NOVEMBER MEETING. Following a spirited discussion about the need for a new concrete pad for prone shooting from the 18-bench side (which was tabled) a new position was established: RANGE PROJECT MANAGER. This position is filled by JEAN CLYNE. Her current task list includes the following: 1. Close the drive-through hole in the divider wall; 2. Install a drainage line along and through the divider wall to the 6-bench side; 3. Redo the berms; 4. Level/gravel the 18 bench side; 5. Rebuild the septic system; 6. Rebuild the shed over the cistern.

RANGE OFFICERS ARE STILL NEEDED! CONTACT KEN JACKS FOR INFO ON TRAINING AND BENEFITS. Range rule reminders for current RO’s: NO Full-auto/tracer/ .50 cal center fire is allowed.

NOMINATIONS: Board positions filled in by Dan brandolino, Gary Blackwell, and Leroy Lewis are up for renewal. They were nominated for full terms, as was Kevin Spradlin (welcome back, Kevin!) ELECTIONS will be held at the December meeting.

DECEMBER MEETING will be held at the Idaho Fish and Game Office on December 2, starting at 7:00 PM. Elections for Board members and officers will be held. PLEASE–try to attend, and vote. [Currently, Board and General Membership meetings are rolled into one, to save time and repetition.] Other discussion items include 2010 match schedule; need for additional baffles; sponsorship signs (on the walls)- replacement and new fee structure.
