Lewis Clark Wildlife Club Newsletter - December 2009

ELECTION RESULTS. There was a quorum at the December meeting, so elections were held and are official. New/returning Board of Directors include DAN BRANDOLINO, GARY BLACKWELL, and KEVIN SPRADLIN. The club’s 2010 President is GARY BLACKWELL; IST Vice-President is KEVIN SPRADLIN; 2nd VP is MIKE LORENZ. Congratulations to all!

RANGE OFFICERS. TONY LOVE and DEAN NARRAMORE will be assuming RO scheduling duties as of January 2. Pickup/dropping off of money bags at Ken Jacks’ will remain the same.

RAFFLE WINNER is MARC GOMEZ. Congratulations, Marc! ALL raffle tickets were sold–good job, everybody! Marc gets a great Christmas and the club nets some $.

PROCEDURAL CHANGES FOR MEETINGS. IF YOU HAVE ITEMS/ISSUES YOU WISH TO HAVE ADDRESSED AT CLUB MEETINGS, PLEASE CONTACT SECRETARY RICK BRIGHAM (509-751-0310/208-305-2145/ rickceil30@cableone.net ) AT LEAST 10 DAYS BEFORE THE MEETING SO THESE WILL BE INCLUDED IN THE MEETING AGENDA. Items not on the agenda will not be discussed....Meeting agendas will be provided to Board members, along with previous meeting minutes, one week before each meeting.

DRAWINGS AT CLUB MEETINGS. MIKE WASHBURN will handle these–If your name is drawn from the club membership list, and you are present, you will win a minimum of $25 cash. Not there? Prize at the next meeting will be $10 higher. So attend, and maybe win!

RANGE WATER PROBLEMS. The recent cold snap and failure of a light bulb in the crawl space underneath the check-in counter resulted in frozen pipes and an out-of-commission water supply. MANY THANKS TO BILL GIETLER, JESS STONE KEN JACKS AND MARC GOMEZ FOR GETTING PARTS, MAKING FIXES, AND KEEPING THE RANGE OPEN!

2010 MATCH SCHEDULE. There are 16 matches/events, as follows: SILHOUETTE-February 27/March27/April 18/May 22; CMP/M1 GARAND-March 20/April17/June 19/November 20; HUNTER BENCH REST-March 28/April25/May 16/June 27; APPLESEED-April3-4/May 8-9/June 12-13/July 17-18.
