Lewis Clark Wildlife Club Newsletter - January 2010

RANGE OFFICER’S MANUAL. Tony has taken suggested changes in this manual from two years ago and incorporated them into a draft, which should be in final form within a month. Nice work, Tony!

RANGE OFFICERS. If you are interested in becoming one, with perks of free shooting and a free annual recognition dinner, contact Tony Love or Dean Narramore. The club needs more! And all current Range Officers have brand new LARGE name tags, thanks to Marc Gomez.

SUGGESTION/COMPLAINT BOX. One will be installed soon at the range-to be used for complaints AND kudos!

RANGE IMPROVEMENTS. A new SHELF for gun cases has been added at the top of the stairs/RO counter. This will ease the hassle of checking multiple long guns in great big gun cases by RO’s. Thanks to Tim Kopsczynski and Bill Gietler! Other works in progress include replacing the original DONOR signs with new ones (and getting some additional revenue for the club). And look for maintenance on the BAFFLES, BERMS, AND PUMP HOUSE.

RANGE USE ON FEBRUARY 20: The TRAP RANGE and 6-BENCH SIDE are reserved from 9:00 AM to 1 PM, so plan to use just the 18 bench side at that time.

AGENDA ITEMS. If you have any items to be considered by the club, let Rick Brigham (rickceil30@cableone.net / 509-751-0310 Home) know by No Later Than January 25. Thanks!

NEXT MEETING is February 3 at the Idaho Department of Fish and Game office in Lewiston, starting at 7:00 PM.
